Next came McClure Meadow and the Ranger Station. this trail is definitly one of the top 5 trails in sierras. Maybe if I waited a bit the sun would be at a lower angle as I headed north, so that the trees would have longer shadows for me to rest in. Lots of camping spots with water so you can make your day as long or short as you like. When I walk through this area again, perhaps I will do the same so I can see it from another perspective.
