There is a pine rockland native plant in southern Dade Co. that could also be an alternative to Wedelia. Pineland lantana (Lantana depressa) has bright yellow flowers and can be a ground cover or small shrub. I'm glad it killed most of the St. Augustine grass in my lawn.
