It is always a difficult decision to make in respect of cutting the grass before a busy weekend because campers prefer shorter grass than longer and of course it is inevitable that when surrounded by acres of beautiful, lush green grass rather than concrete or gravel, that some will get dragged into the toilets on people's feet. The smell you refer to is unfortunately a perennial problem blighting north Skegness and Ingoldmells and is caused by Anglian Water's sewage treatment plant half a mile away. On the second night the weather changed dramatically and the wind made it impossible to camp another night.
